In 2010 is Klaas Verplancke 20 jaar illustrator en 10 jaar auteur. Met veel vakmanschap creëert hij een tegendraadse werkelijkheid van poëzie, vrolijk surrealisme en bijtende humor. Zijn beeldtaal is aanstekelijk en een geschenk voor elke aandachtige KIJK-er. In HETPALEIS wordt dit jubileum op drie manieren gevierd.

INTERACTIEVE TENTOONSTELLING (voor iedereen)
In de wereld van Klaas is niets wat het lijkt. Zijn hoofd is een kamer vol achterdeuren, kieren en luikjes. De expo neemt je mee naar deze geheime plek, naar De Tuin van letters, kleuren en verhalen. Je kijkt, fantaseert, tekent of stapt een illustratie binnen. In een scenografie van Michiel Van Cauwelaert.




Van 25/9 t/m 9/1/11, telkens op woensdag, zaterdag en zondag van 14u tot 17u.

Gratis, reserveren is niet nodig.

WORKSHOPS  (voor kinderen vanaf 6 jaar)
Hoe teken je vreugde? Hoe klinkt verdriet? Geef je eigen verhaal vorm.

DE EERSTE KEER (voor alle illustratoren en illustratieminnaars)
Op 20/10/10 om 20u10. Gratis, reserveren is aangewezen. i.s.m. Leeswelp.

DE DAGEN krijgt steun van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap en het Vlaams Fonds voor de Letteren.

De tentoonstelling Kijk is gratis toegankelijk voor families met kinderen op woensdag, zaterdag en zondag tussen 22/9 en 22/12/10, telkens van 14u tot 17u.
