hetpaleis zoekt polyvalent technicus (x/v/m - voltijds)

hetpaleis is een groot podiumkunstenhuis voor kinderen en jongeren in het hart van Antwerpen, een plek waar mensen en verhalen elkaar ontmoeten. hetpaleis organiseert zowel publieke als schoolvoorstellingen, workshops, gesprekken, etc.. en bereikt daarmee een breed en divers publiek.

Functie

Naast de eigen creaties zet hetpaleis ook elk seizoen in op een uitgebreide receptieve werking. Daarvoor is hetpaleis op zoek naar een polyvalent technicus die de huisploeg komt versterken. Als lid van de huisploeg sta je in voor opbouw en afbraak van de eigen creaties en de receptieve voorstellingen. Je doet technische permanentie bij voorstellingen maar staat ook ook mee in voor het live bedienen van licht, geluid of video. Je bent mee verantwoordelijk voor het theatertechnisch onderhoud en werkt mee aan een ordelijke en veilige werkomgeving.

Profiel

  • Je hebt (bij voorkeur) een theatertechnisch diploma en/of hebt ervaring in een professionele theatertechnische omgeving. 
  • Je hebt interesse voor alle deelaspecten van de podiumtechnieken, maar lichttechniek boeit je het meeste.
  • Je hebt een goede basiskennis van Grandma lichttafels of bent bereid je daar snel vertrouwd mee te maken. Kennis van digitale netwerken, DMX, sACN of ART-NET zijn een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt vlot en veilig.
  • Je kan in teamverband werken maar ook in je eentje trek je je plan.
  • Je bent energiek, gedreven en communiceert gepast en efficiënt.
  • Je hebt voeling met de werking van een (jeugd)theater of bent bereid om je in die context in te werken.
  • Je vindt flexibele werkuren prima. Avond- en weekendwerk zijn in deze job een evidentie.
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs B. Een rijbewijs C (hebben of willen behalen) is een plus.
  • Je bent leergierig en sluit graag aan bij verschillende opleidingen.

Vacancy polyvalent technician (m/v/x - full-time)

hetpaleis is a large performing arts house for children and young people in the heart of Antwerp, a place where people and stories meet. hetpaleis organises both family and school performances, workshops, talks, etc., reaching out to a wide and diverse audience.

Function

In addition to its own creations, hetpaleis also puts its efforts into extensive receptive activities every season. To this end, hetpaleis is looking for a versatile technician to reinforce the house team. As a member of the house team, you are responsible for setting up and breaking down our own creations and receptive performances. You do technical permanence during performances but are also responsible for the live operation of lighting, sound or video. You are responsible for technical theatre maintenance and contribute to an orderly and safe working environment.

Profile

  • You have (preferably) a technical theatre degree and/or have some experiences in a professional technical theatre environment.
  • You are interested in all aspects of stage technology, but lighting technology interests you most.
  • You have a good basic knowledge of Grandma lighting tables or are willing to quickly familiarise yourself with them. Knowledge of digital networks, DMX, sACN or ART-NET are a plus.
  • You work smoothly and safely.
  • You are able to work in a team but can also work on your own.
  • You are energetic, driven and communicate appropriately and efficiently.
  • You have a feel for the reality of a (youth) theatre or are willing to familiarise yourself with our context.
  • You are happy with flexible working hours. Evening and weekend work are a given in this job.
  • You have a driving licence B. A driving licence C (have or want to obtain one) is a plus.
  • You are eager to learn and enjoy joining various training courses.

Offer

  • Full-time job with an open-ended contract
