Maxim Storms

Maxim Storms creates dark, unsettling and comic theatre, in which tragedy and humour reinforce one another. His intuitive approach demands openness from the audience, and the meaning emerges through the structure of his work. In his productions, he seeks out characters who do not know what to do and therefore act randomly, without resorting to one-dimensional stereotypes. With his background at Brik Tu-Tok and Ballet Dommage, and his impeccable sense of timing, he won the Best Acting Performance Award (under 35) in 2023.
