Theater Artemis

Theater Artemis is a youth theatre company based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. We create interactive and anarchic theatre. Theatre that, in collaboration with our audience, does not abide by its own rules. Theatre that disrupts and is disrupted. Theatre in which audience and performance find each other in a shared state of confusion. Nothing is set in stone. Everything is open. We have only each other. Help! What now? Artemis offers the power to turn the world upside down. We create performances and art projects for all children who go to school and everyone else left over. Despite the fact that we often struggle to make ourselves heard, we still try to teach. Amidst the chaos, we teach a special subject: lessons in trust to a world in panic.

Theater Artemis is one of the four resident companies at the Verkadefabriek in Den Bosch, the Cultural City of the South.
