Thanks to the funds raised by the friends of hetpaleis, we are able to keep ticket prices low for schools and groups with limited means. All visitors to hetpaleis can become a friend. Convinced that solidarity is contagious, we want to encourage as many people as possible to become a friend.

why are our friends so important?
In Antwerp, 27% of children grow up in a disadvantaged family. As a result, they have fewer opportunities to come in contact with art and culture. hetpaleis is very aware of this vulnerable situation and has been working for years to keep disadvantaged groups close to our activities. For example, we offer tickets at a reduced rate for all performances and workshops. This season, 93 primary and 35 secondary schools are benefiting from the friends rate.
Thanks to the friends of hetpaleis, we give all children the chance to continue enjoying theatre and culture.

You can also easily become a friend by buying one of our packages (‘pakket’ in Dutch). All proceeds go directly to the friends fund.
- For just 60 euros, you can get hetpremièrepakket. This gives you a seat for the four major premieres of the current season.
