Below you will find our leisure-time workshop offer. Each workshop is tailored to the participants, so please check the indicated age limits carefully. Are you just a little too young or too old for a workshop? We would be happy to welcome you to another activity at hetpaleis.

theatre summer weeks

Do you already long for an endless summer holiday? Count down with us the days and register your child for one of our theatre summer weeks.

During the last three weeks of August, children aged 4 to 12 will get to work under the guidance of an artist. Theatre is the common thread, but dance, music, circus and visual arts also come into play. Both the studios at hetpaleis and the city itself serve as the setting and playground for the workshops. 

At the end of each summer week, we warmly invite (selected) family members to a small sharing moment: a warm and playful glimpse into what the children have experienced and created.

We work on a first come, first served basis.

before- and after-care
For workshops during the school holidays, hetpaleis provides before- and after-care. Before-care starts from 9 a.m., after-care runs until 5 p.m.

health insurance reimbursement
Different health insurance funds also provide contributions for workshops. Please consult your health insurer’s website for the latest information, bring the correct form with you, and a staff member at info & tickets will be happy to complete it for you.
