Guided tours for groups will also be organised during the 2026–27 season. Keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest updates.
‘When giving guided tours, I often realize that for some children, theatre is something very far removed from their daily environments’, says guide Dominique Van De Zande. ‘A guided tour brings that world closer. I see eyes light up as they listen in surprise to the stories behind the scenes and feel free to ask questions of everyone we meet along the way.’
Guides take you and your class on an interactive journey behind the scenes at hetpaleis. You’ll discover everything that goes into putting on a performance, how much time it takes and exactly who makes the costumes. Together with your class, you’ll make your way through the corridors where normally only technicians, directors and actors walk around. A visit to the costume workshop, trying on a wig, or taking a bow with the whole class on stage … it’s all possible here.
