Let's celebrate the start of the theatre season
Extend the summer with the power of creativity
Wouldn’t you love to bottle up that holiday feeling and keep it forever? We’ll be giving it a go on Sunday 6 September 2026. Join us in celebrating the new season and feel, right down to the tips of your toes, just how wonderful a summer’s day can be. Everyone is welcome – yes, absolutely everyone. From a story time for the little ones to children’s yoga on the rooftop, and from workshops for young people to an amazing finale for everyone aged six and over. Not to mention aperitifs on the terrace of hetgeluk and discounted tickets...
The acclaimed and much-talked-about production WASCO! returns to hetpaleis one last time following an international tour. Come and say goodbye to WASCO! at the final performance.
Nu is het nog rustig (Things are still quiet now), but the party’s about to get started. Start the day in a zen-like way with children’s yoga on the roof of hetpaleis.
The little ones will snuggle up together for an Eindeloos Verhaal (Endless Story): two special and heart-warming storytelling sessions by hetpaleis leest voor, featuring theatre makers Toon Acke and Fiene Zasada. They will present a playful reading of Waar is de taart? (Where is the cake?) by Thé Tjong-Khing.
Just like Macy in Wat Macy weet (What Macy knew), become the master of your own story.
Dance like the wind, dance with everyone, dance just like the RAFAGA performers do, and join us in bringing the party to a close.
