It’s just that we’ve got a bus waiting for us in the parking area of the theatre to take us back to school, where parents are waiting for their children, and now I see that the show is called Eindeloos Verhaal, and it’s not that we’re not looking forward to it, but I’m just wondering exactly how endless it is? We want the children to go home with a great story, but not one that’s too long …

Imagination. It seems to have always existed. Inexhaustible and endless. The things you can make up! Pearl-Tailed Rats, Stray Lights, Singing Chopping Shoes and Were-were-wolf-wolves. And places! The Oracle Obstacle, The Pinball Path, The Darkness of the Deep … And the Void.
The Void is there too, of course, ever more frequently and ever more vicious. Apparently, the Void sweeps like a vengeful storm over everything you can possibly imagine. Devastating everything and endless, too. Endless? On the contrary: putting an end to everything!
Inspired by the stories of Michael Ende, WOLF WOLF and hetpaleis are creating a new theatre production. Seven performers take on the dark, destructive force that devours our imagination. Risking their lives, they lose themselves in the Great Story, let themselves be swallowed up by the Theatre, and seek a way to get as close as possible to the Void. But before we begin, there’s just one more question: does anyone know how to actually save the imagination?

In order to minimise disruption to the performances, hetpaleis requests that you switch off your mobile phone before the start of the performance. Eating, snacking, drinking and photography are not permitted.
