Three acrobatic performers try to hold their ground, literally and figuratively, while the ground beneath their feet keeps shifting. To remain standing, they constantly have to adapt. Running, tumbling, dashing, they try to stay on their feet.
They cling to each other, to an edge, or to a spectator’s hand. With the audience all around them and bathed in compelling electronic music, the performers try to find a new balance between the flying, sliding, falling and catching.
Should they strive for control? Or perhaps learn to stagger really well?
The musical circus theatre SKRAM pays tribute to resilience. A tribute to the courage to stagger, take risks, fail and get back up again.
prepare for your class visit
In order to minimise disruption to the performances, hetpaleis requests that you switch off your mobile phone before the start of the performance. Eating, snacking, drinking and photography are not permitted.
Responding to the performance is of course allowed, and even encouraged!
